Pressors
Pressors are a broad category of field technology that presses directly on physical matter from hyperspace, enabling uniform and perfectly efficient elastic transmission of momentum. Pressortools are any variety of implement that utilizing this effect to transmit force to manipulate mechanic systems. Typical pressortools include grips, cutters, and joiners.
Pressorfields and pressor decks are environmental systems that maintain specified levels of simulated gravity for humans and other inhabitants of space structures. Aeries often maintain pressorfield environments as a way of enabling inhabitants to naturally maintain muscle tone. Pressorfields are also standard emergency equipment on spacecraft to counteract abrupt changes in momentum that would otherwise injure passengers.
