Flitters

Flitter.

Flitters are the most common category of small shadow space starships designed to traverse hyperspatial volumes. Floaters and drifters are additional varieties of extremely common hyperspatial volume starships found throughout human space.

Minimal FTL spacecraft, flitters are often so small that only one or two pilots are required. Flitters are often used as training craft for beginning hyperspatial pilots, as they are both maneuverable and easy to learn. They usually have limited range and speed, but are inexpensive and efficient in their use of shadow flux catalyst.
